Hey folks!
Remember I told you you yesterday about how incredibly cool my friend Maya is? And how she can jump on hay bales?? Well Mom was oh so smart today and when we left for the walk, she grabbed her camera. Almost forgot it since I was SO persistent about leaving right then, but at least now I can share these fun photos with you!
As you can see, Maya kinda makes it a game for us since she’s knows I haven’t figured out how to get up there yet. I tried a little bit today but my butt just weighed me down. I guess that extra 5-10 kilos (12-25 pounds) I carry over Maya DOES make a difference!
You might notice that we had an additional friend along today – Amelie who you got to meet a few days ago in some of the Lantern Fest pictures. She thinks Maya and I are totally crazy and won’t participate in most of our rough games…but she did want to play Queen of the Hay Bale with us! Who can blame her??
In the end, Maya was the clear winner of this game since she was the only one getting on the bales. I think I need a lot more practice at taking a running start to get up there…because just jumping isn’t going to cut it! Maybe I can take a few practice runs this weekend before they pick up the hay and with any luck I can show off what I learned to Maya on Monday!
